In August 2019, Austin, a Utah-based triathlete, was hit by a car while riding his bike as he trained for an upcoming Ironman event. The accident left him paralyzed from the waist down. Less than a year later, Austin restarted his training and is determined to complete the full-length Ironman distance as a para-athlete.Three fellow endurance athletes inspired by Austin’s grit and determination are helping him achieve his goal.
